When you take iron tablets you also should have it with orange juice to help you absorb it into your body, vitamin c helps that because sometimes it does absorb easy. I had low iron too did your doctor tell you how low mine was 19 and I had the tablets, a friend of mine was 5 and she had 1 needle injection every month for a long time to bring up her iron level again. iv sounds like some form of needle but am unsure I am in western australia so why not go to your chemist and ask them or ring the doctor and say that you need more information the receptionist there may be able to help I hope this helps ..

I just want to thank the people that responded to my post about my bowel problem?

I plan on going back to my doctors if this problem keeps up and I will be given another colonoscopy. Given my history with bowel cancer in 2005 I will not leave this much longer. I hope it is just IBS or bowel desease at the worse. I hope it has not come back, as I am run down now for the first time in years. Pysically it is hard to do things as I feel like I have an infection. I had my ears looked at tonight and my right ear that is aching expecially when I drink cold fluids the doctor did not see any infection. This is how run down I am, I feel my body is shuting down. Thank you guys for wishing me the best. I had a horid day yesterday with this. I will keep you guys posted. You do have a shot at Davis because your SAT is high and have good EC's. Your GPA is a little low, but not too bad. You're right, CRD is not a very competitive program at Davis. You could try applying to other UC's as well, it wouldn't hurt to try. My friend got a 2.2 GPA but got a 1480/1600 on his SAT and had a plethora of musical accomplishments and UCLA accepted him. Anything can happen so don't be afraid to try. Berkeley may be a long shot though, but good luck!

I think she's annoying, not that great looking, (actually I think she's quite ugly...) I don't like the way she raps or the way she sounds when she talks, and I really don't see anything all that valuable in the content of her songs, since they're all basically about what every other female rapper thats made it big in the rapping business lately sings about, , guys, partying, drugs, alcohol, etc... Adding table salt to a fish tank?

Hi. I am just starting my setup.I am planning on housing two or three bettas (with a divider) and an oto catfish. Bettas like some salt so I was going to add a bit. I know that uniodized salt is best however I am currently letting the tank undergo the nitrogen cycle for a week or two. Will it be safe to use table salt if I have at least a week before adding fish? I ume the iodine breaks down pretty quickly. Also, I have some small snails and some moss in the tank as well if that matters.

Its a balancing act- Muscle stretch receptors will cause contraction to keep the muscle from being damage by over-stretching. It takes a fairly large amount of muscle tension to cause significant stretch in the tendons, though-so when the tendon stretch receptor are activated, it means the muscle is pulling extremely hard on the tendon, which could lead to tendon and joint damage-thus then there is a signal to back off. In the end, the body decides it is better to have a torn muscle than to damage the joint itself- So, a little muscle stretch, like during sports, the body contracts the muscle to protect it. But, if the tension goes up too much- A lot of tension on the joint-puts the joint at risk now, which is harder to heal and a more damaging injury than a muscle tear, so the body relaxes the muscle- Hey, you got a groin pull-ouch, a few weeks off, you're ok- But tear up the knee joint, or pop out your hip-thats a long-term problem.

Windows 7 and Fedora 14 dual boot, how can I boot straight Windows?

You would need to edit your grub config files and put the Windows partition as the primary partition. Unfortunately, without writing your own BIOS firmware it wouldn't be easily possibly to set it up to where you could hit a specific key to boot into linux, but what you could do is set the timer in grub to something like 5 seconds. That way, its only on the screen for a very short time and doesn't really slow things down too much, but you have enough time to change the selection if you want.

Should I Tell Him The Truth? Or Do I Let Him Think That The Pregnancy Was An Accident?

I am 18 years old. Last Thursday night me, my best friend (Rachel, age 18), a co-worker of mine (Marcus, age 25), and my co-worker's friend (John, age 30) got together to have a few drinks at John's house. It had been planned in advance that me, my friend, and my co-worker would leave the house at around 2 AM, since my best friend's mom wouldn't let her stay over night since she had to pack the next day to go back to college. Well I'm not one that can take several shots of alcohol and I went past my better judgment and did so anyways. Well at 2 AM I was in no condition to be riding in a car let alone leave the house and so my co-worker drove my best friend home and then he went home himself. John allowed for me to stay at his place to get better. John had been routinely checking in on me to see if I was alright, it took me until about 4AM to get better and then I went to find John. He had fallen asleep in the living room and so I woke him up to let him know that I was all better. We stayed awake watching TV, I fell asleep again and awoke at 7 AM. I asked him if he wanted to head upstairs to go to sleep (with the full intention of actually sleeping). Well, one thing led to another and John and I had . I am not on birth control and so what I usually do if I am in the middle of having unprotected is that halfway through the I tell the guy that I am not on birth control and we figure things out from there. Well, John didn't last as long as I had anticipated and before I could tell him that I wasn't on birth control it was too late. I haven't said anything to John and I never told him that I was/wasn't on birth control. I won't know if I am pregnant until later on but I just want advice on what I should do if I become pregnant. Should I tell him that I wasn't on birth control and so the pregnancy is mainly my fault? Or should I play dumb, let him think that I was on birth control (which is probably what he umes since I didn't say anything), and act as surprised as he is if I become pregnant? He already has a 10 year old son of his own and the reason for this is because the mother (John isn't with her) lied about her birth control. With all luck I won't become pregnant, but I am 18 so im pretty fertile and he's 30 and he has already gotten someone pregnant before so I'm sure that he could do it again. I barely know the guy, in fact Thursday night was the second time that I had seen him, the first time he had gotten so drunk that he had to be carried upstairs by one of his buddies and he ped out in the bathroom. basically, you can only put money in a Roth IRA that you make at your job (or have to pay taxes on). What happens is they tax the money you put in when you put it in, instead of taxing it after you take it out. So say you put the full $4000 (max amount you can put in annually) in the account. they tax it at whatever the interest rate is. this is a good thing because say over the next 30 years you are able to make that money turn into a million dollars. In a normal IRA they would take your million in and tax it. You dont want that because at a 10% interest rate thats $100,000 that Uncle Sam is taking from you. instead of a few hundred. To make the money grow you invest the money in stock, bonds, mutual funds, etc. I'm 15 and I have a Roth IRA with $1,000 in it. The reason i have so little is because thats all i racked up working as a life guard this summer. I've taken that money and bought 7 shares of AAPL stock (the company that makes the ipod, in case you dont know). the money is now about $1,200 dollars. Choosing between stocks and mutual funds is an important decision. With a mutual fund you're only going to average the stock markets return, which on average is about 11% a year. With stocks you can make much more depending on how good you are. The difference between the 2 is with stocks you do everything and you spend your time with your investments. with the mutual funds, the mutual fund spends their time with your money on their investments.

What is a low calorie breakfest one can eat while traveling?

I just started a job where I travel around PA and NY alot, and I was wondering what my options were for eating a filling but low-calorie breakfest? Obviously I can't store milk in my car for cereal, and most places like fast food are to fatty. My mare has the metabolism of a gerbil, so I know where you're coming from. Just be sure to stay away from too much sugars to reduce the risk of foundering (OTTB's don't typically have great feet). There's also noosa, thats a nice place to visit. Then there's the far north Queensland stuff like the great barrier reef, whitsundays and all them, they're all good but you can't exactly go there on a day drip from Brisbane

OK so i lost about 95lbs in the past year and am very healthy. i always think about what/how i eat and when and i work out almost everyday. i've always been sort of an intense person. when i decide i want something, i totally give myself over to it (my friends use the words "mind, body, soul" to describe my tendencies with commitments and things of that nature). basically if i put my mind to something, i really put my mind to it. and now my mind is on my weight. i have a friend who wants to lose weight as well and he says he wants my help but he's not willing to put in the work. i keep telling him to make small changes but he's just not willing! like today i physically had to pull him away from the escalator by his sweater and make him take the stairs! and then i just could not convince him to skip dessert at lunch. he keeps making excuses. says he "just started" (his weight loss journey) but quite honestly i don't really see the beginning of anything significant. i feel like i'm badgering him because i'm trying to get him to be more conscious of what he puts in his body. his approach to weight loss is just so juvenile! he's going to work out with me and he asked "if i do this, will i lose weight?". i said "definitely". and he got all happy and was like "so i can eat whatever i want??!!" and of course the answer to that was a big fat NO!! it just really annoyed me. and i don't know why it's getting to me but i really just want to help him change. so today i sat there and i broke down his lunch for him (calories, fats, etc.). i was trying to get him to see what he was taking in in terms of food value and not taste or the physical amount but he just kept making excuses and at one point i started feeling like a bully. like i was kicking a puppy. and i don't think it's me. i'm perfectly polite about it but just very straightforward. like about the dessert i broke it down for him and then i said "u just ate a big lunch. u dont need that. thats extra calories u cant afford. think about it. why did u order it?" and he made his usual "i'm just starting out" excuse. he makes me feel like i'm too extreme and kind of nuts and i feel like he's being a lazy child. he says he's not gonna come work out with me tomorrow cuz he needs rest (rest from what?? everything he just ate totally replenished and then some!!) i'll end this now. u get the idea. what should i do? should i continue to try and help even if it makes me look/feel like a ***** or should i just let him go on the way he is? it's just ridiculous! he eats a chocolate chip muffin for breakfast, comes and works out with me, eats a giant lunch and then gets dessert and justifies that by saying that "he's just starting out"! and then he has the nerve to say that he's jealous of me and my progress when clearly he has no right to be! ugh!!! can anyone relate? any tips/advice/suggestions?

You more than likely do NOT have Cleveland heads as they are for high revving engines not ski boats.(like previousposter said, they are not "bolt on" either) You also probably already have a R.V./marine cam which provides the most punch out of the hole. You don't get more top w/o giving up bottom w/o going bigger in displacement. My suggestion....Play with prop size. I got just what I was looking for in an offshore go fast by going less pitch bigger cirference props. Also aluminum performed better in my case by being lighter. I gained 5 MPH w/o touching any thing mechanical. Find a shop willing to let you try-to-buy. They also make dual pitch props for out of the hole and top end speed. HP is good but not the only way to skin these cats. (BTW I hear you about not wanting to yank engines, sheesh. It's a bigger pain than a car. ) Also reverse rotation is not a big deal. cam makers grind for it. Just reverse firing order. Problems with wireless router, I keep getting "401 unauthorized". 10 points!?

I have a netgear wireless g router and I did everything to set it up according to the online manual. I also went to tools, internet options, security and chose local intranet and chose custom level, selected prompt for pword. After setting everything up I was supposed to go to routerlogin.com and enter "admin" for the username and "pword" for the pword. But when I do this I get a message that says "401 unauthorized." So how can I log into my routher when I keep getting that "401 unauthorized" message?

I am a Sergeant in the NC Army National Guard. I was recently accepted into the active duty Warrant Officer Flight Program (WOFT) and report to Warrant Officer Candidate School in a few months. It has been 5 years since basic and AIT and almost 2 years since I came home from Iraq. I am a little apprehensive about going back on active duty. Can anybody give me any advice on preparing for the school that have attended WOCS? Please be specific about the school. Is it like a basic training environment? I've never had the need for rehab, but my husband has been in 3 times and come out each time hopeful until he relapsed and was worse than when he began. He is a chronic alchoholic now, gets drunk at least once a day, sometimes twice. I think some things are better left alone. When you try to do good, sometimes it has a negative affect, and the worst part is he tries to blame me. I supported him and our children for years, and now his brain has turned to mush. :-(

I am Jewish. I pray greatly to God. I just feel He hasn't proven Himself. I want an afterlife. But, I just don't know God can provide that. It is a pear cut sapphire and set in the ring to look like an unopened rosebud. The leaves that run along the bottom are etched. We have a 100 lb golden retriever and moving to a new subdivision. It will be a few more months before we have a back deck, and gr. Our front yard is still mud, no sod. Im looking for suggestions with him for going outside to do his business. We plan to take him for walks anyways, however he's kind of an odd boy. He doesn't go to the washroom on walks, he's always waited and come home to do his business in private, even on an hour long walk. I've looked into the potty patch but it looks cheaply made and not worth the money. We will have a gravel driveway but i don't know how to get him to use that either.
