I'm not due until Jan 28th. Tested today Jan 23rd. Too early??

Test was negative. Is five days to early? I know, I need to retest if and when I'm late...I just want to know if anyone has tested 5 days early and if the results where accurate. I used Clear Blue Easy...digital. Thanks!
