Creatine muscle build ?

I am 16 year old male , about 5"9 168 pounds i workout in a gym 3 times a week and train in martial arts twice a week (bjj and muy tie). I was wondering if i should take creatine would it help do i do enought workout were it would benefit me. i want to gain muscle but lets say i dont workout sometimes when i take it will it just make me fat. and is there risks that come along with it. and do people consider it cheating or something.
