I know exactly how you feel, hon. It is so hard, and hurts so bad. I find the best way to get over somebody is to get UNDER somebody...lol...as in, find a new fella to be with. Be happy, make your ex realize what he lost/make him jealous. Look as good as you can; looking good is great revenge! It'll also boost your confidence.
