Can the dad take all the rights of my child?

so heres the thing im 17 yrs old might be haveing a kid nto 100% sure yet took 4 test 3 said i am 1 said im not so idkk what to go wit so i have a drs appt anyway the dad of the baby said hes takeing me court to get all the rights of this child if there is one.. can he do this? is there anyway to stop him? is there anyway at all he is able tyo get all the rights of the baby? i would b able to tak ecare of the baby very well on my own witout the father i have alot ppl here that would help me when all he dose is stay up until 4 or 5 am get up in the afternoon then go plays ball or games on the xbox or whatever i dont wanna b wit him n he said if thats the case hes takeing me to court to get all the rights! plz tell me if he can rlly do this!
