Melbourne shops??? Please help?

I was thinking of catching the bus to melbourne on the holidays. I would like to know some shops that are cheap(ish) and nice. i don't like supre', cotton on is ohkay, bit plain though. Dotti and Bardot' are really nice but a bit dear. I like vintage clothes and hippie shops(not too hippie). Lol with whatevers left, i would like to know as i'm not familiar with Melbourne. What shops are good to shop at. And not old ones like Katies or Crossroads. Im only 17
