Does anyone know how long you have to be married in Florida to qualify for alimony if I dont work but no kids?

I'm an accountant who does divorce work in FL. Listen, there's no way anyone can answer this question without knowing your entire situation. There are so many factors involved. Is this a long-term marriage? Have you ever worked during the marriage? What is the marital lifestyle, his income, ets, debts, etc. Also, if you did work, what is your skill set and how much could you potentially earn? This amount should be subtracted from whatever financial lifestyle need you would have. By the way, alimony and child support are calculated differently and separately. But, I have to tell you that if I were working for your husband then I would suggest he get an occupational essment done on you to see how much income you could earn.
