Places to visit in QLD?

The best places to go in Queensland aren't in Brisbane. There's the theme parks on the Gold Coast of course only 1 hour car ride away which you say you've been to, then you should go to the sunshine coast which is about the same distance north. there you can go to underwaterworld in mooloolaba and Australia Zoo (Steve Irwin's zoo). underwaterworld is in the town so it's easy to get to by public transport, and go on the Australia zoo website to work out how to get there, they have detailed info. There's also noosa, thats a nice place to visit. Then there's the far north Queensland stuff like the great barrier reef, whitsundays and all them, they're all good but you can't exactly go there on a day drip from Brisbane
