A question from The Unbearable Lightness of Being (but it doesn't require you to have previously read it)?

I interpreted it as somewhat of a reincarnation take: that people could be continuously re-born again and again until they reached the perfect planet; they would continuously, from lifetime to lifetime, spend time on different planets.
