Why is my car bogging and stopping?

I recently had the lifters replaced in my 05 Fusion. While driving the car home from the mechanic and after about 20 miles the car began to bog and eventually quit running. After the engine stopped I could restart and the engine ran great for a few more miles and the same thing happened again.. this has happened ever since. I know this is a fuel problem but what could be causing the fuel to stop after the car warms and allows me to restart immediately after the engine shuts off
