Is it wierd for my ex to keep talking to me about his new girlfriend?

I dated this guy on and off for a couple years ago. He decided he just wanted to be friends. He is now dating another girl that he is head over heels in love with and wants to marry. The thing is, he puts this girl on such a pedistol, and brags about her to me. He say things like "she can have any guy she wants but still wants me so I will do whatever it takes to make it work" and tells me she's like no girl he's ever met, and has never felt this way about anyone. I am not a vindictive person, but I think he should be more sensitive to the fact that he and I have a history and doesn't need to say things like that. It makes me wonder if he is trying to make me feel bad? Am I right?

Can my pony still jump?

i have had my 13.2hh welsh cross arab pony for nearly 3 years & she is round about 15-19 years old.and the 1st year i didnt jump her because we had no access to jump and the second year i got her jumping for maybe the 1st time in her life as her old owner didnt like jumping.she learned to jump with me and one day we went down to her to give her her feed and groom her and she had fell and hurt her leg.we had the vet out and after 5 long months she is finally better again.she gallops across fields and doesnt want to stop and doesnt act old at all and her leg hasnt let her downn either so do you think she can still jump and how will i learn her to jump again instead of takin months like last time as there is a show coming up in 2 months and as she is stunning we are going to enter with our friend on her horse.so what do you guys think?? :)

Need help! Stepmother seeking advice to help father obtain custody of his 4 year old daughter!?

Need some help! My boyfriend is trying 2 obtain custody of his 4 year old little girl. The mother is VERY unfit & is n an abusive relationship w/ her husband. CPS & COPS have been envolved but nothing has happened. The mother cant keep a job, shes lived at 4 different houses just this year. She has asked us 4 money 4 groceries, my mother n law washes all of the babies clothes now (plus a couple of the mothers and her other childs) because she has missed school because she doesnt have clean clothes. When we bought her 15 uniforms (shorts, skirts and pants to go with each shirt), plus ALL of her school supplies. Her mother doesnt have a vehicle or a phone. So my n laws pick her up & take her where she needs 2 go. We r paying 4 daycare. We r the ones who take her 2 the doctor/dentist and go to her school events. The worst part is a month ago we had her & she said her step dad hit her & her mom told her 2 keep it a secret because it was a bad secret. WHAT DO WE DO???
